“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” – Leonardo da Vinci
In all aspects of your life you will know when you have reached a point of maturity – it gets much simpler. When you find the core of who you are and aren’t working so hard to meet the expectations of others there is far less effort in your interactions.
What you say, how you act, how you dress and what you choose to do comes from a place of confidence and surety. There is so much less internal editing and external drama – you begin to embrace the phrase, though lately overused but still relevant, “it is what it is”. You begin to realize that all you and others can ever do is exactly what you are capable of. You can accept both your strengths and weaknesses and find the grace to accept the same in others.
When we stop working so hard to act sophisticated, we achive sophistication.
